Addie O. Baker, 88, 1003 Burton Lane, Nancy, died Tuesday, April 17, in a Harriman, Tennessee hospital following a short illness.

She was born in Pulaski County June 9, 1901, daughter of the late Ezekiel and Ethel Burton Burton. She was a housewife and member of Okalona Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Delno Baker, Long Beach, California, Morris Baker, Goodland, Indiana, and Linzie Curtis Baker, Nancy; three daughters, Edith Naccarato, Priest River, Idaho, Helen Russell, Farmer City, Illinois, and Anna Bernice Barker Flynn, Nancy; two sisters, Annie Alley, Crab Orchard, Tennessee, and Elma Padula, Deerfield, Illinois; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dave Baker, who died December 25, 1985; two sons, Claude Milford and Larry Dale Baker; two daughters, Ella Mae Hislope and Stella Velva Tarter; four brothers; Palmer, Harlin, Hershel and Clyde Burton; and a sister, Alta Hislope.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Okalona Baptist Church with Rev. Rollin Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be in Okalona Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Nancy Funeral Home.
