Dave Baker, 91, Route 1, Nancy, died Wednesday, December 25, at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland following an illness of eight months.

He was born in Trimble on April 1, 1894, the son of the late Alonzo and Ethel Lindy Baker. He was a postmaster at Delmer for 39 years, a retail merchant, and member of Okalona Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Addie Burton Baker, whom he married on October 29, 1915, in Delmer; three sons, Delno Baker, Long Beach, California, Morris Baker, Goodland, Indiana, and Linzie Curtis Baker, Nancy; three daughters, Edith Nacarroto, Priest River, Idaho, Helen Russell, Farmer City, Illinois, and Bernice Barker, Nancy; a sister, Martha Sears, Somerset; 25 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

Services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Okalona Baptist Church with the Revs. Edd Hubbard and J.S. New officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
