Margaret G. Wilson
Age 83 of Perry Township, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at The Pines in Canton. Margaret was born on July 18, 1928 in Bostic, N.C. the daughter of the late John and Vera (Rushbrook) Whitaker. She was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple for years and later became a member of Anchor Baptist Church. She graduated from Massillon Baptist Bible College. Margaret loved children and Sunday School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Wilson and 8 siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband. Dale E. Wilson whom she married on Aug. 29, 1945; her children, Sandra (Kenneth) Cleaver of Canton, Gay (John) Fawcett of Lake Mohawk and Gilbert (Cathy) Wilson of Round Rock, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Doris Jesse, and Elaine Savage; and her brother, Boyce Whitaker. Margaret's family would like to thank the staff at The Pines for their compassionate care that was given to their mother.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Anchor Baptist Church. Dr. Mark Jacobs will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Anchor Baptist Church. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at
