HAMLET -- Paul S. Luken, 72, of Hamlet, died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday in Plymouth after a six-month illness. He was born July 29, 1897, at English Lake, Ind. and lived all his life in this area. He was a retired employee of the U. S. Steel Corp., Gary. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Raymond Hardesty of Hamlet; one niece and two nephews. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Rev. Milton Beeman, pastor of the Hamlet United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery. Friends may call until time of services at the funeral home.
