MRS. HETTIE MURDOCK
Mrs. Hettie Murdock, wife of the late William Murdock, died at her home in Center Moriches last Friday, aged 83 years. The deceased was highly respected, and greatly beloved by all who knew her. She was a conscientious Christian, and in her earlier day of financial prosperity, was ever considerate of the needs of the poor and the church.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Albert Hulse, of Arkansas; Daniel Murdock, Mrs. William Kaler, and Syms Murdock, of Sayville; John Murdock of Center Moriches; William Murdock of Brookhaven, and Mrs. Howard Gamage of Center Moriches. The deceased's brother ans sisters are: Syms Havens of Center Moriches, Mrs. Rebekah Baker of Sayville; Mrs. Elisha Lamb of Center Moriches; Mrs. William Kingsland of Berryville, Ark; Mrs Elizabeth Reeve of Colorado.
The funeral was held from her late home on Sunday afternoon and was attended by quite a number of Sayville people.
