Noah Robinson was a Revolutionary War Soldier (DAR Ancestor #A097676). He served six months in 1775 and nine months in 1776 under Captain Nathaniel Scribner. His unit was called up at the burning of Danbury and the taking of Fort Montgomery in 1777. He later served under Captain Noah Hoyt in 1778 and 1779. He was in the Battle of Norwalk. Noah applied for a pension on December 3, 1832 which was granted.

Noah Robinson, Sr. is the son of Isaiah Robinson, Sr. and Amy Chappell. Noah married Mary Foote (daughter of John Foote, Jr. & Deborah Hoyt) on 27 May 1777 in Danbury, Fairfield Co., CT.
