Doris came to New Jersey at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Englewood, NJ. She attended the Englewood Public Schools and graduated from Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, New Jersey.
She worked at various secretarial positions and retired from Progressive Life Insurance after 34 years of service.
Doris was a quiet person, however, her actions spoke louder than her words. Although she did not have children of her own, she always had room in her heart to love and care for her nieces, nephews and family friends.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are: Sisters Doreatha Carlos (South Carolina) and Jacqueline M. Morgan (North Carolina) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
