Mass of the Resurrection for Robert John Bready Sr., 66, 13 Hunter's Ridge Road, who died Thursday, will be celebrated 8 p.m. Friday from St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father William Gahagan will be the celebrant. The graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Monte Vista Burial Park, where friends are invited to meet the family for committal services. Serving as active pallbearers will be James Thornton, James Wilson, C.C. Goodson, Ben Pat Bailey, Cecil Greene, C.C. Marshall, Edwin Gerace and Leland Lancaster. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hillcrest Coffee Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2211 E. Lakeview Drive, Johnson City, TN 37601 or The National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 North West 9th Avenue, Miami, FL 33136. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Linda Blackwood Bready; four sons, Robert Bready Jr., Atlanta, Ga., Jonathan Bready, Cranston R.I., Christopher Bready, Columbia S.C., and Matthew Bready, Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Alison Bready Runyan, Old Hickory; two brothers, James Bready, Johnson City and Richard Bready, Providence, R.I.; two sisters, Caroleann Lyons, Brockton, Mass., and Kathleen Pellegrino, Springfield, Mass.; six grandchildren, Meredith, Mallory and Catherine Runyan, all of Old Hickory, Robert, Stuart and David Bready, all of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.
