Ella A. Baxa, daughter of Joseph and Magdalena Blazek, was born January 20, 1885 in Jefferson township near Cuba and died May 23, 1970 at St. Ann Rest Home after a long illness.

She married Vincent M. Baxa January 20, 1903. Twelve children were born to this union.

Preceding her in death were her husband, infant daughter, Eliska and son, Alois, her parents, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors are: four daughters, Mrs. Magdalena Pachta of Belleville, Mrs. Leon (Frances) Winbinger of Belleville, Mrs. Jean (Elizabeth) Oborny of Timken, Mrs. Edward (Rosarie) Jecha of Timken; six sons, Vincent M. of Cuba, Henry of Wayne, Fred of Cuba, Alfonso of Randall, Edmund of Springfield, Va., Edward of Wauwatosa, Wis.; 54 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Lesovsky, Cuba, Mrs. Lanny Havel, Belleville, Mrs. Joe (Lottie) Morton, Narka; one brother, Joe Blazek of Cuba.

Funeral rites were celebrated by the Rev. Raymond Pachta and the Rev. Eugene Stehno at St. Isidore Church May 26 and interment at St. Isidore Cemetery.
