Blanche T. Baxa, 74, Agenda, died Friday, October 6, 1989, at St. Joseph
Hospital, Concordia. She was born October 3, 1915, at Bison to John and
Josephine Jedlicka Oborny. On April 30, 1940, she was married to Henry A.
Baxa at Timken.

She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Cuba, Catholic Workmen of
Cuba, and Ladies of Columbus of Concordia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and six sisters.

Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Bob (Mary
Ann) Goodwin, Lorene Baxa and Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Oborny; one son, Rev.
Mr. Henry R. Baxa; a sister, Albina Mattas of Wilson; two brothers, Rudolf
Oborny of Rush Center, Jerry Oborny of LaCrosse; three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held October 9 at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in
Cuba, with the Most Rev. George K. Fitssimons and Revs. John Lahey, Ron
Palmer and Donald Zimmerman officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
