Mrs Minnie Lee Flatt

Minnie Lee Burgess Flatt was born May 4, 1909 died suddenly March 30, 1947, making her short stay on earth 37 years, 10 months and 26 days.

She was married to Robert Flatt July 4, 1926. To this union 8 children were born, two died in infancy.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, Robert Flatt and 6 children;
Mrs. Opal Medlin, of Ohio, Hollie, Willie, Eldon J., James Dallas, and Bethel Paul Flatt at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jere Burgess, of Tennessee, three brothers, Haskell, Edward and Willard Burgess, of Tennessee; 4 sisters, Nellie and Jessie Edith Burgess, Mrs. Burton Fox, Mrs. Robert Birdwell all of Tennessee, and many other relatives.

She obeyed the gospel in early life and lived a faithful Christian life until death. She was a faithful wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed in her home and community.

Services were conducted on April 1st by Bro. Baugh Smith with burial in the Fox Cemetery on Flynn's Creek. Whitson Funeral Home, Cookeville, in charge.
