Theodore was born between Oct 1849 and Oct 24, 1852 in Wisconsin. He was one of five children born to Peter Harig (1826-1916) and Christina Miesen Harig (1822-1893). Theodore also had a half-sister by his mother's first marriage.
His half-sister was Anna Marie "Mary" Jacobs (who married Michael Meyer).
His other four siblings were:
