Victor J.D. Anderson, 59, of Elgin, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. He was born August 14, 1945 in Elgin, IL.
Victor had served in the US Air Force. He was the co-owner of Shoebox-Memorabilia and Custom Framing in South Elgin. Prior to that, he had worked in the Hydraulic and Fluid Power Business for many years.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Elgin and several Fantasy Football Leagues.
Survivors include his former wife, Julie Anderson of Elgin; two children, Patti (Andrew) Smith of Elgin and James (Pamela) Anderson of Lake in the Hills; one grand-daughter, Melissa Smith; and his best friend and mother-in-law "Mom", Linnea Larson; his sister, Connie; and brother, Cliff.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 18 at 11:30 AM at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery, Lily Lake, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home. Info: (847)741-8800.
