Frank L. Goolsby

Frank L. Goolsby, a resident of Algood, died at St. Thomas hospital in Nashville, where he had gone one week prior to his death. He had undergone an operation on Wednesday and appeared to be improving until a few hours before his death. He was 54 years of age, and had been a faithful member of the Church of Christ at Algood for twenty-six years. He was an excellent citizen, a kind husband and father, and a good neighbor. He was a painter and decorator by trade. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Goolsby. He was married to Laura Davis, daughter of the late Jeff Davis of Algood, and to this union were born two sons and one daughter, Paul and Fred, and Miss Ruth Goolsby. He is survived by his wife and children and by two brothers, John A. Goolsby, of Livingston, and I. D. Goolsby, of Dayton, O.; and two sisters, Mrs. A.J. Mofield, of Livingston, and Mrs. Smith Bryant of Baxter, Tenn.
