Alma Pearl Grissom, age 91, Russellville, Ala., passed away December 25, 2001, in Birmingham. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Spry Chapel of Russellville. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Spry Chapel of Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating at the funeral will be Billy Norris, Ed Bragwell and Billy Taylor. She was a native of Russellville. She is survived by her sons, Hoyt Grissom of Blakley, Ga., and Bill Grissom of Birmingham; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Pallbearers will include Nolan Wheeler, Dick Smith, Earl Smith, Jamey Copeland and Hudson Copeland. Honorary pallbearers will include Bobby Malone, Thomas Duncan, Daniel Duncan, Larry Jackson, John Jolley and Ford Grissom. She was a member of Isbell Church of Christ and the Eastern Star of Russellville.
