Jewel L. MANESS-WEST, fondly referred to as "Granny Goose" by friends and family, was born on January 31, 1914, and, after 91 years of sharing her love with everyone around her and being loved by many, has gone to be with the Lord on February 10, 2005.
Jewel lived a long and prosperous life. She is one of the most wonderful people you would ever have met, would do anything for anyone, and has touched many a life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a very loving, caring, and giving person and will be missed.
Jewel is survived by daughter, Inez Eggers of Roseburg, Oregon; granddaughter, Debra and her husband, Robert Thurman of Crescent City, California; granddaughter, Teleah and and her husband, Victor Potter of Fernley, Nevada; granddaughter, Roidawn and her husband, Tim Hart of Roseburg; great-grandson, Zach Hurst of North Bend, Oregon; great-grandson, Chris Owen of Coquille, Oregon; great-granddaughters, Sascha and Amanda Owen of Crescent City; great-grandsons, Brandon; Corey; Keith; Ty Hart; and Ben Cellucci, all of Roseburg; and great-great grandson, Ty Sabastion of North Bend.
