Mr. George C. Knick, 79, of Chatsworth passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Murray Medical Center. He was the son of the late J. D. and Corrie Bell Knick and was preceded in death by his sister, Maude Ketchum and brother, Ivan Knick. George is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Knick of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Della Knick of Tunnel Hill; sister, Vera Fossett of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, William Doyle and Andre Knick of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Shaun Knick of Dalton, Jason Knick of Chatsworth, Jason Moore of Ringgold and Savannah Geary of Calhoun; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Beach officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 1 to 3 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
