Hilda Marie Higgs was born July 29, 1893, in Loverton, England. She came to Kansas with her parents in 1898. She and Jacob Ringquist were married about 1919.
Mrs. Ringquist died at St. John's Hospital in Salina. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors included seven daughters, Mrs. G. H. King, Mrs. J. C. Wood, Mrs. Earl Lamer, Mrs. Fred Boston, Mrs. Loren Nelson, Mrs. Paul C. Younger, and Mrs. Dean Johnson; two brothers, Albert Higgs and G. H. Higgs; and 14 grandchildren.
