Muriel May Orban, 87, a former resident of West Rockhill Township, passed away on Thursday September 13, 2012 in Queensbury, New York following a battle with Alzheimer's Disease and cancer.

She was born on January 1, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Harry and Jessie (Hoover) Bottke.

Following her retirement in 1994 from the Quakertown Free Press in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Orban moved to Queensbury, NY to live with her son and daughter in law.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Glens Falls, NY and the Church of the Incarnation, Quakertown, PA.

Mrs. Orban loved listening to music especially the sounds of the Big Band era, along with antiquing and playing cards.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Orban, Sr., who passed away in 1981, brother, Harry Bottke and daughter, Debra Jean Hunsberger.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Robert E. Orban, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Queensbury; grandchildren Jessica Orban and Robert E. Orban III, both of Queensbury; Elizabeth Thomas and her husband Robert of Atlanta, GA; Lauren Hunsberger of Savannah, GA; son in law Dwight Hunsberger of Macon, GA; two nephews and two nieces.

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 North Main Street, Telford, PA., 18969. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 Calling hours are scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home prior to the service.
