Rev. H. I. Miller of Old Huron died at his home Saturday night after a two year illness during which he was bedfast. He had been in the ministry for 42 years. He was born in Virginia. For the last five years he had been the Methodist minister in Huron. Surviving him are his widow, Laura Florence Davison Miller, four daughters, Mr. Mona Searles of Sparks, Mrs. Mabel Noel of Horton, Mrs. Grace Ringo of Horton, and Mrs. Lena Haidden of Old Huron; two sons Clarence and Gene Miller of the home place. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian church at Effingham, the Rev. H. B. Hogan of Rosedale officiating assisted by the Rev. Brown of Effingham. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery in Effingham.
