Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Adams United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Gillespie and Rev. Sally Hughes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service.
Burial of remains will be held Saturday at 2 PM in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Miss Nees was born May 23, 1916 in Davidson County to the late Leslie Oberman and Anne Elizabeth Bernard Nees.
Her sister, Virginia Nees Belk also preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Hume Fogg High School and was retired from the billing department of National Life & Accident Insurance Company.
She was a member of Adams United Methodist Church and was a former member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Nashville. She was a faithful Sunday school teacher and enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and puzzle books.
She is survived by her niece, Martha (Charles) Rust of Adams; great nieces, Sarah (Jeremy) Cecil of Clarksville, Martha Elizabeth Rust of Atlanta, GA, and Nancy Gay Rust of Adams; and great-great nieces, Charlee Elizabeth Cecil and Katherine Louise Cecil, both of Clarksville.
The family request memorial contributions be made to the Jo Byrns Elementary School Library. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
