Karen Kay Burnett, 63, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Andrew West officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Karen was born March 18, 1949, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Keno and Aliene Solida. Karen was a special and kind person who was loved very much. She will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keno Solida.

Survivors include her mother, Aliene Solida of Amarillo; a daughter, Shannon Shaw of Amarillo; a son, Keno Burnett of Reno, NV; a granddaughter, Laci Burnett of Carthage Mo.; three sisters, Nancy George and husband Wayne and Pam Lancaster and husband Don, all of Amarillo, and Phyllis Ledbetter and husband Clarence of Buhler, Kan.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
