Terre R. Broadwater, 76, of Carmel, passed away February 5, 2013. He was born May 25, 1936, in Muncie, IN.

Terre was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph H. and Georgia Zeck Broadwater, and his son, Jason C. Broadwater.

Terre received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University and was a partner with George S. Olive & Co. He received the State of Indiana Honorary Award, Sagamore of the Wabash in 1993. He was one of the last surviving players of the Muncie Central Bearcats high school basketball team who played against Milan in 1954.

Terre was a member of Castleton United Methodist Church, and Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his friends and family.

Terre is survived by his loving wife, Carol A. Caupp Broadwater; daughter, Laura Kafka; son, Steven (Staci) Broadwater; five granddaughters; and brother, Jack T. Broadwater.
