WENCEL E. KETTNER
Wencel Kettner, 58, residing on Denmark Star route in the town of
Gibson, died yesterday in St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay, following
a week's illness.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Kettner
home and at 10 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tisch
Mills. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
He was born in Kossuth in 1885 and in 1908 married Miss Anna Krch. They
located on the present homestead in Gibson.
Survivors are the wife; daughter Viola, at home; two sons, Benjamin,
at home and Leonard at Denmark; mother, Mrs. John Kettner, of Kossuth;
brother, Anton, of Kossuth; sister, Mrs. Mary Ginzel of Rhinelander.
The body was moved to the home late this afternoon from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home. He was a member of the Holy Name Society
whose members will recite the rosary at the Kettner home Wednesday at
8 p.m.
