Clapp, Ann Derotha, 86, went to the "pretty place" at 3:02 p.m. on May 14, 2001. She went peaceful surrounded by love with her family at her side. Ann was born March 3, 1915 in Vernon, Texas to Jessie Mae Haney and Raleigh Roy Briscoe.

She had three sisters, Mae, Dorothy and Betty.

On May 17, 1939 she was joined in marriage to Aaron William Clapp for forty-seven years until his death. This union produced two children, Barbara Ann and Robert Aaron. They gave her five grandchildren. Barbara's daughters, Carol Ann and Cheryl Lynn; Robert and his wife Zena and their sons, Kelly Aaron, David Wayne and Travis William. They gave her five great grandchildren, Rasheed, Lexi, Madison, Reilly and Alyssa.

The family would like to thank all of her caregivers, especially Shanna with Hospice for being there and Mary her special friend who loves "Annie" just as much as we do.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 16, 2001 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. RESTHAVEN FUNERAL HOME S.W. 104TH AT WALKER 691-1661
