"Rudy died in the Golden Crest Health Care Center in Hibbing. He was born to Charles and Susanna (Rolfes) Stuntebeck. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II and had worked for 42 years as an electrician, first at M.A. Hanna Minning Company and retiring from National Steel in 1982.
"He married Victoria Calaguire on Nov. 27, 1948 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and they made their home in Pengilly.
"He was a member of St. Kevin's Catholic Church in Pengilly, VFW Post 8831 of Pengilly, United Steelworkers of America, Local 2660 and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
"He is survived by his wife, Victoria of Pengilly; a son, Frank (Carol) Stuntebeck of Cloverdale, Minn.; three daughters: Susan (Jack) Ostrander of Nashwauk, Vicky (Richard) Woodman of Pengilly and Jean (Dennis) Rowland of Pengilly; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren (with two on the way); and numerous nieces and nephews. The interment pallbearers werevhis 10 grandsons."
