Adella Allen Walker Bateman, 83, lifetime Utah resident, died Saturday 10:20 a.m. on March 9, 1956 in a Salt Lake rest home of causes incident to age. Born in Draper, Salt Lake County, Utah on Oct. 4, 1873, to William C. and Lovina Jane Allen. married to William Walker, Nov.7,1900, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1912. Married to Alberto Delos Bateman, Aug. 24, 1931 in Midvale, Salt Lake County, Utah. He died Oct. 29, 1941. Adella Bateman was a practical nurse for over 13 years in Midvale and neighboring towns. She was an active in the LDS Church, as a visiting teacher and three years as member of the Relief Society presidency in the Midvale First Ward. Surviors; brother, sister, Bert Allen, Price; Mrs. Sherman D. Rideout, Salt Lake City. Funeral Monday March 11, 1956 at noon, 4760 South State Street, where friends may call Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to Burial at Draper Cemetery.
