Hilda was born and raised in Red Springs Township, Shawano Co, WI. She was a member of the Stock-Mun tribe on the Stockbridge Reservation in Shawano Co., WI and Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Morgan Siding. She was survived by ten children, fifteen grandchildren, one brother and five sisters, predeceased by one brother. She is the daughter of Wellington and Cassie Miller.
