Riely R. Barnhart, 72, of Cape Girardeau, MO, passed away November 23, 2010 at Jackson Manor in Jackson, MO. He was born December 3, 1937 in Granite City, IL to John Barnhart and Mary Vesta Burnette Barnhart. He and Gloria Barnhart were married in April of 2008 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Riely was a member of the Construction 338 Labor Union, and a member of Assembly of God. He was a guitar player who enjoyed both teaching and playing every chance he got on the weekends. Survivors include his wife Gloria Barnhart of Cape Girardeau, MO, daughters Debra Handley of Cape Girardeau, MO, Carla McClennan of Bethalto, IL, Cathy Brendal of Maryville, IL, Anita Thomas of Bethalto, IL, Rita Barnhart of Bethalto, IL, brothers Clarence "Butch" Barnhart of Russell, AR, Ervin Barnhart of Arlington, TX, Sister Glenda Hulvey of Marble Hill, MO, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers. Friends may call 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
