Bobbie loved to teach and be with children. She treasured her time at Rainbow Pre-School in Stillwater and at Ripley Public Schools, where she touched the lives of many children and families. Additionally, she was instrumental in the startup Boomer Laundry in Woodward, OK. Bobbie also enjoyed making sure all of the customers felt welcome.
Her passion was family and friends. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends from high school. She also enjoyed talking with family. Family defined by Bobbie was anyone that crossed her path. She loved people, and never met a stranger.
She loved to crochet and many children have been wrapped in one of Bobbie's hand make teddy bear blankets.
Bobbie and Bryne were always on the lookout for people in need. The boys grew up knowing that at any time there might be an extra plate at the table or someone living with them for a while. There was always enough food, always enough room, and always enough love to get through anything.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Oscar Bryne Stone, her two brothers Otis and Glen Martin, her two sisters, Bonnie Martin and Dorene Tapp.
Left to treasure her memory are her children David and wife Karla Stone of Fargo, Oklahoma, Jonathan and wife Laurie Stone of Whitehouse, Texas; her adored grandchildren Austin and Levi Stone, Patricia and Ashley Steadman, and Ethan and Logan Stone; her brother, Marcus Martin and wife Mavis of Paden, Oklahoma and many, many, nieces and nephews.
