Peggy Jean Weiss, daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Lattie Geniva (Wallis) Cuhna, was born on February 14, 1941 in Oroville, California, and departed this life suddenly on February 5, 2013 in the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri, at 71 years of age.
Peggy attended Orville high school in California. Grew up in California and loved Long Beach and talked about it often.

First husband; Dayton Dewey Irwin, divorced in Apr 1968- had children with this marriage.
2nd husband; Daniel E Foster, divorced may 1971, had child with this marriage

Later in life she was united in marriage to Frederick "Rick" Weiss on March 7, 1985 in South Lake Tahoe, California which she referred to as the love of her life and soul mate.
They moved around a bit while Ricky was in the Navy. Then, after he got out, they settled in Vanzant Mo., where they made their home for about the last 18-20 years and lived close to family. Peggy was a stay at home wife & mother. She was the care provider for her daughter, Gail Irwin.
She loved her family and loved Jesus. She was a great cook and would try new recipes every chance she got and loved to do things for people. She had many gifts God gave her. She had a servants heart. She loved the outdoors and would talk about camping as she loved to do. She loved animals and always had pets she adored. She talked about raising chickens and funny story she told was they laying eggs, all at once then she had so many eggs they were coming out of her ears and she didn't know what to do with them all.
She had lots of stories to tell and lived life well and was happy. She was funny and a fun person to be with and had a unique charm and was witty. She made me laugh a lot as she did with all.
Peggy was a very special lady. she was a beloved wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 18, great grandmother of 5, sister, Aunt and special friend. She left to be with Jesus and she will be sadly missed by all but so fondly remembered
