Funeral services for Earlene Padgett Twardowski, 71, of Needville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father William D. Bartniski will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

Earlene was born on December 1, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Elijah and Lela (Maness) Padgett. She was employed with Lamar Consolidated I.S.D. for over 20 years and later with Needville I.S.D. Known to her grandchildren as "Babush", Earlene enjoyed spending time watching her grandchildren's every endeavors. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #271. Earlene went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2013 at Oak Bend Medical Center in Richmond, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Twardowski; parents, Elijah and Lela Padgett; son, Allen Twardowski; and siblings, Lynette Broesche, Clyde Padgett, and Claude Padgett.

Earlene is survived by her children, Dianne VanCleave and husband, Jim, Mark Twardowski and wife, Cindy, and Jackie Janczak and husband, Tommy; sisters, Pat Taylor, and Linda Sober and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Amber Twardowski, Samantha Pfeffer, Zachary Twardowski, Austin Pfeffer, and Chance VanCleave; step-grandchildren, Tanya Dannhaus, Jackie Netardus, and Taylor Janczak; step-great-grandchildren, Tyler Dannhaus and Marissa Janczak; along with other family members and friends.

Pallbearers are her nephews, Harry Twardowski, Larry Twardowski, Tommy Twardowski, Florian Twardowski, David Nastoupil, and brother-in-law, Jerry Sober. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, Zachary Twardowski, Austin Pfeffer, and Chance VanCleave.
