Clarence Herr, 8O
Funeral services for Clarence H. Herr, 80, of Petoskey, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stone Funeral Home. Rev. Harold May and Pastor Jack Paget will officiate. Burial will be In Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Herr died Dec. 4 at Little Traverse Division of Northern Michigan Hospitals. He was born Aug. 9, 1900 in Harbor Springs and attended Harbor Sprlngs schools. Mr. Herr was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
On Aug. 3, 1926, he married the former Iola Nelson in Petoskey. The couple have resided here since that time. Mr. Herr was the owner and operator of the Herr construction Co., in Petoskey, for 35 years.
He was member of the Gideon Society for several years and a member of the Assembly of God Church for about 40 years.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Francis
(Jean) Fryczynski. Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Ford and Mrs. Robert (Kay) Taylor, all of Petoskey; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Milton Herr of Petoskey and Ira Herr ofAlba.
The family suggests anyone wishing to honor the memory of Mr. Herr, may do so by
contributing in his nalJ1e to the Christian Life Center. or The Gideon Society. Envelopes for
those purposes are available at the Stone Funeral Home where
