Blanche was born the first child of Louisa Mielke and Moses Little. She was one of eight children and lived her entire life in the State of Wisconsin. In 1905 at about the age of 18 she went into service in a household in Birnamwood, Shawano, WI as a household servant. She married her husband John Tousey in 1910 and together they were employed in the household of Phil Mielke (unknown if relative of mother). , John as a Hired Man. Together she and John had nine children: Gordon (1912) Myrtle (1914) Velma (1916) Opal (1918) Bernard (1920 ) Ervin (1922) Ruby (1924) Bessie (1925) and Mayme (1931). They are both members of the Stock-Mun Tribe on the Stockbridge Reservation, Shawano, WI. They lived in several places in Wisconsin returning to Shawano Co around 1938 where she lived until she died on Dec 14, 1960 at the age of 73.
