Puget Island -- Mrs. LaVern Davis, 74, of Puget Island, died Thursday morning of natural causes. Her body was found in her home at 9:45 am Thursday. The autopsy showed she had been in a coma, and died about 6 hours before she was found. She lived along in her home on Puget Island.

Enna LeVern Davis, 79, of Cathlamet, died Nov. 29, 1978, at home, She was born April 16, 1899, in Coalville, UT.
She lived in the Cathlamet-Puget Sound area since 1937, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and the Puget Island Grange.
Surviving are a son, David Everett of Vancouver; two grandchildren, Gerald of Vancouver, and Jack of Tumwater; a great-grandchild, Rebecca; two sisters, Thelma Callahan of Cathlamet, and Margaret Wardell of Morgan, UT; and four brothers, Frank, Raymond and Jacob Rees of Coalville, and Morgan Rees of Salt Lake City.
Services will be at 11 am Saturday at the LDS Church in Cathlamet. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
