Mrs. Fuller, widow of L. T. Fuller, who was in the hardware business here for many years, was born October 1, 1856, on Woodlawn Plantation, near Charleston, S.C. She came to Houston from Calvert, where she went as a bride. She was the daughter of the late Dr. S.P. [ed: U.A not S. P.] Rice of Marlin, who was one of the first doctors in Texas.
Mrs. Fuller was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and of the first members of the Garden Club of Houston, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her survivors include a son, M. D. Fuller of Wesson, Miss; five daughters, Mrs. G. J, Palmer, Miss Mary Fuller, Mrs. M. E. Sperry and Mrs. R. B. McAshan, all of Houston, and Mrs. Edgar W. Gross of Beaumont.
