Goldie Deloris Lucas Neal Duncan

On Saturday, February 2, 2013, God sent his Angels to escort Goldie Deloris Lucas Neal Duncan through the pearly gates of Heaven after an extended illness on this earth. Goldie was a long-term resident of Coal City, WV, most recently a resident of the Ansted Center Nursing Facility.

She was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Dora Jane Mullins Lucas.

Goldie attended the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church in Crab Orchard, WV.

In addition to her parents, Goldie is preceded in death by two former husbands; 4 brothers, Kenneth Lucas, Franklin Lucas, Harry Lucas and Herbert Lucas; 4 sisters, Bessie Legg, Maxine Miller, Erma Brown, and baby sister, Anna Lucas.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Roger Neal and wife Patricia of Belington, WV; grandsons, Timothy Neal and wife Samantha of Morgantown, WV, and Brian Neal of Belington, WV.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Roger Tolliver officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
