The cemetery is located in a pasture and behind a locked gate and enclosed within a wrought iron fence. The cemetery is adjacent to an old house which probably was the old Zollicoffer home place. The house was still standing on July 31, 2001. The house and cemetery are located on the south side of a detention dam approximately one mile off the farm to market road that goes from Irene to Bynum.
