Ferdinand KRAUSE born at Golina, Poland present day [Powiat żarski, Lubuskie, Poland] on the 18th of September 1812 immigrated to Tarutino, Bessarabia at age 2 with his parents, Michael and Katharina (Miller) KRAUSE.

Ferdinand married Katharina WIDMER on the 3rd of March 1832 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. This union was blessed with 13 children; Anna "Karolina", Andreas, Ferdinand, August, Michael, Wilhelm, Karl, Julianna, Dorothea, Wilhelmine, Louisa, Maria and Johann Johannes.

Ferdinand died at Tarutino on the 2nd of May 1855 due to Rheumatism.
