Becker retired in 1993 from Mid-State Trucking Co. Earlier, he worked for Mushroom Trucking Co.
He and his wife, Rosaline Pearson Becker, were married 51 years last August.
Becker belonged to Crossroads Wesleyan Church of East Petersburg and the Teamsters. He enjoyed fishing.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Born in Neffsville, he was a son of the late Francis and Mabel Jacoby Becker.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Ronnie at home; a daughter, Connie Boas of Lancaster; three brothers, Daniel and Ronald, both of Lancaster, and John of Florida; six sisters, Dolores, wife of James Reinfried of Mountville, Patricia Akerley and Claudette, wife of Dennis Cole, both of Lancaster, Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Hollister of Mount Joy, Helen, wife of Author Damore of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Theresa Young of Millersville; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
