Mrs. Laura Utt, widow of Norville J. Utt, died Thursday at her home in Savannah at the age of 88 years. Funeral rites were held at the home in Savannah Monday afternoon with Rev. Arthur Stookesberry in charge. Burial was at the Savannah cemetery. Mrs. Utt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Salladay, was born in Scioto County, Ohio. She was married to Mr. Utt in 1871. He died 33 years ago. Five children were born to the family, four of whom survive. They are Frank Utt of Bloomfield, Mrs. Belle Green of Eugene, Oregon, Mrs. Mayme Green of Enterprise, Oregon, and Ralph Utt of Queen City, Missouri, Mrs. Addi ANdrews preceded her mother in death. Other survivors are Mrs. Jennie Hrunk, and Edd Utt, stepchildren; also 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Jenni McCloskey of California, Mrs. Sarah Downing of Florida, and Mrs. Jessie Downing of Selma and one brother A. J. Salladay of California.
