Mulkey, Frances age 84, rejoined Glenn in paradise on January 31, 2013. She was a loving wife, momma, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was co-owner of Fran's Flowers on Chapman Highway in Knoxville, Tn for many years. She was a charter member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tn. She is preceded in death by her parents, E.S. and Rosie Scalf; step-mother, Jessie Newman Scalf; husband, Rev. Calvin Glenn Mulkey; sisters, Clara Myers, Gladys Scalf; brothers, Paul, Mack, Thomas, Howard, Clyde, Carroll, and Steward Scalf. She is survived by her daughters; Mary Rose and Terry Newsom, Marian and James Bolinger, Caren and Jerry Rutherford, Kerry and Steve Crye, Melody and Jody Deakin, and Gerry Walker who was like a daughter; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 6-8pm with a funeral service beginning at 8pm at Highland South Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Scott Linginfelter. The graveside service will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 1pm at Highland South Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, and the granddaughters will assist with the dove release
