I don't have the original source as these were passed down to me by someone who is now deceased but I believe them to be from the Caldwell County, Missouri area.

Vester Arnote, 85, a retired farmer and business man, died suddenly at his home, Sept. 6, 1963. He had been an invalid for the past 10 years. Mr. Arnote spent his entire life in Polo and the North Ray County Community. He was a member of the Bethel Christian Union Church.
Survivors are his wife Verna of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Leamer Stone of Polo and Mrs. E.J. Carpenter, 303 West 4th, Kansas City North; a brother, Richard Arnote of Hamilton; a sister, Mrs. Laura McVeigh, Polo; two nieces, Mrs. Robert Hill, 26 west 4th, North Kansas City, and Mrs. Robert F. Hill, Hamilton and one nephew, Kenneth Arnote, Albion, Ia.
Funeral services were held at the Polo Methodist church, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Wilbur Holman, minister at Christian Union church officiated, assisted by Rev. Harry Carmichael.
Mrs. C.C. Fowler accompanied Mrs. John McCollough as she sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "Ivory Palaces." Casket bearers were Dean Alspaugh, William VanOlinda, Floyd Clark, Marion O'Brien, F.J. Arnote and Carl McCollough. Burial was in Bethel cemetery under the direction of Alspaugh and Cowley Funeral Services.
