CENTENARIAN DIES AT NORTHAMPTON
Mrs Clarissa Clara, 101, Spent Most of Her Life At Ashfield
Northampton, March 17 - died aged 101, widow of Dickinson Clark, died at her home in Florence; born in Plainfield, daughter of Mr and Mrs Levi Campbell; married Dickinson Clark of Hawley June 29, 1842; greater part of her married life spent in Ashfield; husband died in 1871 and their two children Henry and Mary have died since that time; had lived in Florence 22 years, most of the time with her niece, Florence Campbell, since the death of her niece she has been cared for by Mrs Charles Anderson; member of Ashfield Congregational church; had been in excellent health up til her last illness, and only recently gave up fine sewing; on her 100-th birthday a nephew took her on a sight seeing trip around the city; leaves two nieces Mrs Addie Huxley of Washington, D.C. and Mrs Arthur Morse of Hartford, a nephew L.L.Campbell of this city; funeral tomorrow afternoon with Rev. Dr. J. E. Waitis officiating, burial will be in Ashfield
