Funeral services
were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist church with the Rev. E. L. Cooper officiating. Burial was in Cedar Lake cemetery. J. P. Schneider & Son had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Knox, Ind. He married Mabel Van Dalen Feb 13, 1906. The couple lived five years at Danbury, two years in Virginia, and three years in Michigan before moving to Rice Lake. Mr. Baldwin was in the wood business many years and was the owner of the tourist cabins and gas station on S. Main st.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Jess, daughters, Gladys (Clarence)Strand and Mrs. Clark (Virginia) Foss, both of Newport, Wash.; four brothers, Jess, Eau Claire; Edw., Danbury, and Sam and Claude, Virginia; and three sisters in the state of Virginia.
(Mabel Edith remarried Rex Jacobson Apr 28, 1964. And she passed away Sep 3, 1982.)
