Funeral services for Coy Luther Laseter, 83, of Cullman will be Monday, February 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church, Dennis Trimble and Jack Collins officiating, with interment at Mt. Pleasent cemetery in Winston County. The body will lie in state for one our prior to service.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Laseter died Friday, February 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 4, 1929 in Winston County to Willie Casper and Mable Parris Laseter. He worked in the dairy industry for Cullman DHIA as a supervisor and record keeper and he was a retired sales manager with Cooks Pest Control. He served in the United States Army achieving the rank of Corporal. He was a lifelong member of the Lions Club and a 51 year member of Northside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leon and Edward Laseter.

Survivors include his wife, Marcey Privett Laseter; two daughters, Melinda Laseter (Jerry) Mason and Lisa Laseter (Butch) Sharpton; a sister, Emmajean (Jerry) Tuggle; two sisters-in-law, Laura and Lorene Laseter; five grandchildren, Valerie Sharpton (Kevin) Moody, Jared (Lacy) Sharpton, Katie Mason (Kipp) Cain, Kelly Mason and Jessica Sharpton; three great-grandchildren, Trey Moody, Abby Moody and Avery Sharpton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Northside Baptist building fund.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
