Sarah Drewry Perkins, 79, passed away on January 29, 2013 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was the wife of the late Herman M. Perkins, Jr. Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, Sarah was the daughter of the late Frank Drewry and Viola Layne Drewry. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Gloria Patsy Drewry, Phyllis Goin, Joyce Dearing and Doris Foster. She is survived by her brother, Robert C. Drewry, her sister, Betty M. Watts and many loving nieces and nephews. "The Lady" is also survived by her children, Tom, Brett and Cindy; grandchildren, Sharon, Megan, Matthew, Jacob, Alec, Emily and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Shayla, Kevin, Myles and Deegan; and her devoted dog, Moose. Additionally, the family would like to give special thanks to ours and Meema's dear friend, Dana, who was there for her in her time of need. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013, at Whitten Park Ave. Chapel.
