George "Buck" Anderson, Jr., 80, of Scottsville, KY died at 10:58 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. The Adairville, KY native was a retired welder for Micro Metl and member of Mt. Union United Methodist Church. He was a son of the late George William Daniel Anderson and Addie May Wooden Anderson.
He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Mae Anderson, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: George Michael Anderson and wife, Janice, Indianapolis, IN;
1 daughter: Rachel Elaine Sandlin and husband, Ron, Indianapolis, IN;
1 brother: David Anderson and wife, Nancy, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Addie Ruth Hayes, TN;
4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mt. Union United Methodist Church with Bro. Chuck Pruitt officiating and burial in Mt. Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 9 a.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home. Visitation will then be after 10 a.m. Monday at Mt. Union United Methodist Church until funeral time.
