John Thomas Maddox, age 71 of Fayetteville, died Monday (November 22, 2004) in Huntsville Hospital. He was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Bons P. and Johnnie Lee Barham Maddox, a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a retired mechanical designer with IBM in Huntsville. Mr. Maddox was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Robinson Maddox of Fayetteville and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at Higgins Funeral Home with Tim Smith officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
