Funeral for Dinita Gail Ahhaitty, 57, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cameron Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.
Dinita went to her heavenly home Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.
Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel.
Dinita was born in Lawton to Gail and Mary Lou Price Nance on Oct. 20, 1955. She grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School. Dinita married Andrew Ahhaitty on Aug. 31, 1974, in Lawton. Dinita enjoyed raising her family, going to powwows, attending church, making fry bead, sewing, doing beadwork, drawing, making her crafts for her family, spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Ahhaitty, of the home; children: Charity Ahhaitty-Naderhoff and husband Clifton, of El Paso, Texas; Rikki Shane Ahhaitty, Kristi Shae Ahhaitty, Ariel LaDawn Ahhaitty, and Reagan Ann-Michelle Ahhaitty; mother, Mary Lou Nance; brother, Ronald G. Nance, all of Lawton; sisters: Karen Monetathchi and Patricia Perry; and grandchildren: Jessica, Justine, Shaelee, Bianca and Caleb.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gail Nance; and grandparents: Ruth and Ollie Price, and Jim and Violet Nance.
